I wouldn't say they're one of my favorite bands of all time, but I definitely have respect for them and enjoy a lot of their music. Their keyboard player in particular is very talented. I think my favorite of their songs is either Spanish Caravan or Five to One:

The Doors are one of my favorite bands. Their self-titled debut and The Soft Parade are two of my all-time favorite albums. The rest of their discography is great too.

For some reason, my favorite Doors song is "Runnin' Blue" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6oMOMkvUtTU), which is ridiculously catchy.

I really can't say I've heard very much of the Doors...
But I really like "People are Strange." I think that's a song I can pretty well relate to :)

To be honest, I don't understand what's so great about them. They really weren't very good.

But I do like a few of their songs, as well of covers of their songs.

Well, they were really good. They were and are, mostly known for their eccentric lyrics and music. It's original, and I think that's what people like about them.

The Doors are definitely one of the all time best....Ray Manzarek is the best pianist I've ever heard in my opinion
