What do you like in a guy/girl

So lots of these questions are asked, but what do you like in a guy/girl! Personally, I like a guy that is confident in himself and knows who he is/who he wants to be! I also like a guy thats funny and doesnt try to hide who he is! Liking poetry/writing is a good one too:)

But now its your turn! What do you all like in a guy or girl?

I adore a guy who is confident in himself but not too cocky and he has to be funny and make me laugh. He has to be a genuine, down to earth guy who doesnt feel that being a DBag is impressive or cool. But number one is he HAS to be funny! :) Oh and i love it when he gives me little surprises from time to time. :)

I want a guy who's comfortable being himself, but honestly, a big part of it is that I have to be attracted to him. I want him to be nice and sweet to me and funny, but I also have to find him attractive. Attraction is a huge building block of a relationship, both sexual and romantic...
You see the face and body first, and then the personality.
Why do you guys think girls go for jocks (which I don't care for, by the way) who break their hearts
And guys go for cheerleaders that don't give two shits about them?
Because they were attracted to their face and body and then found the monster underneath.

ahh yes! agreed! I used to have friends like that and they justify their boyfriends treating them horribly with "well its okay... he is hot" It just doesnt make sense to me. I dont see how you can stay with someone your not emotionally involved with

I love a girl who is social. Like, she has her own friends and activities that are separate from mine. Like a lot of guys, a girl who feels too "clingy" can start to feel restricting. But girls who have their own strong friendships and like to do other things show that she's confident, and that she's with you because she wants to be, not because she's needy. Its hard to explain, hope that makes sense.

well im straight, but maybe we can say bi- curious. in a girl i love a nice personality, and an outgoing mind. shes not afraid of who she is. shes living for the moment but planning for the future. she looks so gorgeous when she is doing what it is that she loves, and doesnt care what the people around her think.

i guess in a guy like my best friend.... either skater hair, not too long tho, or short clean cut, decent body, nice personality, some muscle is nice, maybe big dick?, nice eyes.

im just gonna say this now, i posted on a different thread like this a while ago, and since then my turn ons and offs in a guy have changed (how i hav no clue) lol. so here it goes:


i like a guy that is sumwat shy, so that if i went out with him i could see the shy person and bring him out of his shell, in more than one way ;-) (lol jk, 14, still a virgin and proud of that fact).
definetly has to be funny.
has to be confident, but not like chelsea handler confident
***(but a little cocky-ness is adorbale. for example, when he is running his mouth about a sport or sumthing, and i playfully state i can beat him, he will challenge that, but then soon finds out im better at it. and gets all pouty, that gives me a reason to cheer him up with a kiss, like cocky-ness like that)***
i dont know wat it is about guys that play atleast one sport, but i like that, but they have to atleast understand sports. (i knw a guys that knws nothing about sports and it drives me insane that if i say touch down as in football, he thinks the space shuttle. that jst pisses me off.)

I like a guy thats independant, dependable, and lovable.
I tent to turn down the guys that try and get my attention and and more attracted to the shu guys that dont. I dont know why, i just do. When we talk its like im the only one that know the real him and i like that.
Some muscles atleast, and im not into the whole beard, goat-t , mustash thing. I nice clean shave is what im lookin for.
I like the emo/skater boy look right now (like Alex Evans, look him up) and someone musically interested like maybe plays the drums or musical
I like what i guy is spontanious and will always leave me guessing. Has a darker side, but not dangerous or violent.
P.S alot of cockyness is SOOO unattractive.
Oh and if he can cook good then he's completely won me over. :)

I like girls that are smart, funny(mostly), athletic, or musically inclinded( singing,dancing,instrument) I LOVE girls that like you because of YOU not because of what you have , how much money you have, if your fat or skinny. Just a girl that is looking for a real friendship, that may end up a relationship. Im funny, goofy, and loves to dance and sing haha but is very shy when talking to girls I like.
