do you ever just feel like you are consistently second best and never good enough for the people that matter the most in your life?

haha your probably like "wow this girl is answering again?" but yes, i always feel like that! but i try to remember that if i dont accept myself, then no one else will accept me. You have to know that your good enough just because you are who you are! if people cant see that your good enough, then they arent worth the time you would spend on them

haha thank you :) and I think most people know how that feels! I guess it just all depends on how you view what you have done. If its good enough for you, then its good enough in general. But i know, easier said than done. Its definitely not easy to appreciate yourself and the things you do but often times people like you more than you like yourself

I think feeling like second best is one of the worst feelings.
and yeah, I know what you mean. I guess you've gotta say screw you to the people that made you feel that way, and look for people that put you first.

I never feel second best, I feel like I'm worst, but still, feeling like you're never doing good enough for everyone - I know how that feels. it's horrible, but you've just gotta keep trying I suppose :)

I don't know why, but i agree that i never feel good enough when i do all that I can do. My best friend told me i do more than required us im usually. Yet i feel im not.

second best is too high for how i feel. i, to be honest, hate who i am. just once, i want someone to be proud i'm their son and know the chances of having that will never happen. especially the older i get. i'm 14, the cute stage is over, but there is still hope for my younger siblings. i hope they never know this feeling.
