What political party do you guys think will win the 2008 Presidential Elections. Republican, or Democratic?


It's tough, because the top two presidential candidates are Barack Obama (a black male) and Hillary Clinton (a white female). Both of these candidates are something America has never witnessed sitting behind in the oval office desk ever before.

But, the Democratic party is all the rage now-a-days and everyone seems to jump on the bandwagon, just because their friends think that war is bad...for the record, it isn't.


I dont know what i'll do if our country is ran by a Democratic candidate.

Would you fight in a war where people are getting bombed by seemingly civilians? Not all wars are bad of course(EX. WWII or the American Revolution), but many are. Who says they bandwagon? Maybe they just have similiar beliefs.

People are getting tortured to death every day, people are getting bombed then laying there with blown off limbs for long periods of time without help or medication, literally wanting to die.

the soldiers volunteered for the army. They knew the risks before they decided to join the Army. you can still have sympathy, but if you don't want to get hurt on the battlefield, then dont join the army. I realize that they want to serve their country, but dieing is a risk that thy surpass by joining the army. It's still sad that they died, but it was their choice to take that risk.

this is an excellent poll because no one knows who is going to win the 2008 elections, and i think that by having it be a poll, people will get to vote and then get a better idea of the possible outcome. Also, this is a debate, a debate requires arguing, which can sometimes carry into a fight.

anyway, war is a bad thing yes, but once we get iraq up and on its own feet then they can start dealing with the terrorists there and we can back off a bit. i know this is going to take awhile, probably years to come. but it will be worth it, think of the chaos over there if we hadn't have gone and the could still be attacking us now.

Few things to say about this one now. 1, after our military fighter jets dropped bombs on Baghdad, we had carrier aircrafts release thousands of pounds of food onto the citizens for the civilians that may have had their houses burned down. Also, if a woman in Iraq when out into public without any facial covering, she was killed. WTF!? that is random killing actually, and if an innocent person was asked to suicide bomb an area, and he refused (like any person who is sane) he and his family were killed. We took a country that had no democracy and ran a dictatorship from one man who didnt get his back rubbed at night and turned it upside down. 95% of the Iraqi population agrees and supports America's decisions. the 5% that dont, are Saddam's followers.

They joined the army becuase they need to pay for college because the economic state of the United States kept their parents from having the ability to pay for over priced university educations. And it would help the "die for a cause" case if they were dying for a better cause than a fucked up health care and social security, where most of the wealth is owned by 1% of the population, where politics is run more like a buisness than the oil companies that support it, and the head of the country is a dim-wit who refuses to give the country what it wants. And also...they wouldnt be dying if it wasnt for fucked up intellegence. they would still be here, eating with their families, mothers, fathers, children, wives, fiances, girlfriends, best friends, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews and cousins, and everyone else a pointless war has taken a close relative and friend away from.
