Hey -
I just got my new MacBook Air today, and I wanted to update my iTunes account with my iPad. I have songs and apps on my iPad and I want to sync it with this iTunes account so the songs on my computer and my iPad are the same. The problem is, I got all of my songs from my sister's iTunes account, so when I go to upload the songs from my iPad into my iTunes account, it won't work. Am I doing something wrong or will I have to start all over?

Did you have an other computer besides your mac hooked up to your iPad?

You cannot swap songs over that way. What you'll need to do is go to your sisters PC, into the music folder and look around the iTunes folder that's in there.
The music should all be in there in separate folders for each album. Copy and paste that to a memory stick then insert it into the Mac book. When you've done that add the songs from the memory stick into iTunes. Sync with your iPad/iPhone/iPod and you should be good to go.
Depending on how old some of the purchased songs are they may still have DRM protection on which basically means you can only use them on authorised devices and PCs.
If you need anymore help just PM me :)

Try that, or on your sister's computer, use a memory stick/flash drive and just drag the songs directly out of iTunes into the flash drive folder.

Excuse me, that's off-topic.
