scrotum gets darker, you start getting pubic hair,go through a growth spurt,voice breaks for the first time. these are all signs of the beginning of puberty/

Each person is different and you will "feel' it. You will start noticing subtle changes...irritability (was one of my first clues), hair growth and the stuff that knotthead mentioned about. With each person its different, so you got to know your self and start noticing the difference
