Go to Privacy Settings and there is a list of things that you can change the settings to. It's under "Your status, your photos, your posts" You can just change that so nobody can see it.

there should be a bar at the top with the word account click on it and go down to privacy setting then do what that other person said to do.
(p.s if i have posted the wrong info sorry but i have no clue what you asked from so i am kinda lost ) (also never really use facebook)
On a slightly happy not i just made my 500th post

You don't understand me,both :) , i KNOW how to go to privacy, that's not the problem, the problem is that i don't know how to stop posts i make in various groups popping up for everyone in news feed and my wall,in other words i want to hide them, did i explain it right this time? :)

if you made your group private so only group members could see posts but thats all i can think of....Otherwise you just need to live with it or muck around with your setting or you could email the help staff for facebook in the help section or post a question on yahoo anwers or another support forum that knows more about facebook

No need to be mean. I guess I just misunderstood the first time. Anyways, there's no way to stop it from showing up on other people's news feed.
