No-Suicide Pledge

Hello, some of you may have read my last thread entitled "im gonna do it" and I was pretty close to doing it but i decided not to and since that event I have been totally unsuicidal and I wanted to make sure that i never got to that state again so I got to thinking.

And I decided to make this, its a pledge for anyone to sign agreeing not to commit suicide, once you sign it you vow never to commit suicide no matter what.
If you are interested in this please copy and paste this:

NOTE: Do not put your full name. use first name or your user name.
Do not sign unless you are a 100% sure that you can agree to it.

If anyone commits suicide that has signed you will have broken the chain And the chain will be useless after that point.

Anyone can sign this even if they can't see them selves being suicidal in the future. but once you sign it thats it you cannot take it back you have to follow the agreement.

For some like myself, it gave me a reason to keep going and it gives people a mind set that they are needed. and it can really help untill they get there life back together.
as for you im sorry this doesn't make you feel anybetter.

It helps me. Despite the fact that I tried to give in, I failed. I've decided due to this that every time I feel suicidal now, I will go out for a run, or to the gym, or do some continutated fractions. baisically, I will use it to make me stronger in mind or body. Therefore, if everyone truly is special, this thread should be left here just for me and mike.

Just wanted to let you all know, I was really really depressed in October 2007. I was about one hour away from killing myself and I had everything laid out when my mom came home and saved me. Since then life has gotten so much better for me and I feel a lot better right now.

Here's my word of advice for all those people that are very depressed. When you're depressed you imagine many many many more problems. You begin to think weird and stuff goes bad. What I did with my brother is I told him all my problems and he wrote them down. We then went over a solution for each one. When we had finished it didn't seem like there was much on the list. It really helps to see everything that is bad and think of solutions. Friends and Family can be great to help with the problems. Anyways, that's just my 2 cents.

you don't have to sign, but for people who are suicidal it can be helpful because it gives you support especially when you are in the thick of a panic attack or something.
That's all it's meant to be really.

The strength of this is that if you decide right now at a time when you know you're thinking clearly that suicide will never be the answer for you, then later if you come to a point where you feel it might be you can remember this and know you're wrong, which could save your life someday. Of course, if you're taking this seriously enough that the wording bothers you (which is a good thing, actually), you can always vow to something along the same lines that you can agree with. For example:

I, Avalikia, will never again believe that nobody would miss me if I was gone, that there is nothing worth living for, or that it's possible to sink so low that I can't get up again.

Hello, some of you may have read my last thread entitled "im gonna do it" and I was pretty close to doing it but i decided not to and since that event I have been totally unsuicidal and I wanted to make sure that i never got to that state again so I got to thinking.

And I decided to make this, its a pledge for anyone to sign agreeing not to commit suicide, once you sign it you vow never to commit suicide no matter what.
If you are interested in this please copy and paste this:

Do not sign unless you are a 100% sure that you can agree to it.

If anyone commits suicide that has signed you will have broken the chain And the chain will be useless after that point.

Anyone can sign this even if they can't see them selves being suicidal in the future. but once you sign it thats it you cannot take it back you have to follow the agreement.
