For me, it was without a doubt Insidious. That movie scared the living fuck out of me. Me and my sister started watching it at like midnight and when it ended, I was like literally having a bad trip from it.
So I am just curious, what's the scariest movie you've seen?

Never been frightened by a film, but the closest I've gotten to it was from watching a film called Noroi The Curse. It's pretty much like Blair Witch, but more interesting and disturbing. The last ten minutes are quite the mind fuck and the part where they're in the woods was just really... out there. Especially the atmosphere of the entire movie.

Insidious only scared me in the theater. When I watched it at home it wasn't scary. So I'd say paranormal activity two. I think it's scarier than the first one.

Exactly! I was so freaked out when I first saw it, but that was in Elementary, so when I saw it again, years later, I thought it was really great :)
I saw The Exorcist when I was five, I had nightmares years after it.

While Emily Rose was creepy, its nowhere near the actual Exorcist.
I remember when I first saw The Exorcist I was like 8, and I was watching it by myself. I turned the TV off when she started acting all creepy. So. I went to my room and attempted to sleep.
I hardly get frightened by movies. I just get really into it. I get nervous, and this hard feeling in my stomach. Like, whenever I watch The Wrestler, or Black Swan, I get this awkward nervous feeling. I guess I watch movies on how they were intended to be watched. But I hate people who can't shut the mother fuck up during a movie. I hate people who cover their eyes and is always like "I only like cartoons mlah".
If you watch a movie with me, you will watch it. Its my rule. :P

I'm confused,I don't know the name of the movie or the girl it(i saw it when I was young myself with my cousins). It was the girl who's head twisted(and vomit) and had the two priest visit her.Is that the same one you're speaking of?I associate every Exorcist movie with Emily :P.

Yeah, that's the original with Ellen Burstyn and Linda Blair.
The Exorcism of Emily Rose is a whole different movie. No comparison should be made between the two.

Even though I get most exorcism movies confused ,totally agree. The Exorcist girl may have not looked as real, but she sure as hell was a lot scarier(and from what I remember,I like the Exorcist storyline better).

Certainly Lucio Fulci's Zombi 2 or Deodato's Cannibal Holocaust.
