type 1 Diabetes questions

so i have type have had it for 10 years i noticed when i was around 14 i got tall really quickly friends all say i shot up i know a few other diabetics and thay were short then shot up like me im wondering if other diabetics have had this and also my GF is short and she has type 1 to and says she wont grow but i think that she will grow taller is this possible

I'm really quite tall. I've had Type 1 Diabetes since I was 5. I started growing at 14 and I'm now in between 6'5 and 6'6. There may indeed be a correlation but from what I know about my family a lot of the males are tall. It depends on not only her families background but the environment she was brought up in, only time will tell really.

yeah her family is tall i just thought it was interesting im still geting taller i also have another point most peole i know with type 1 well guy with type seem to be chuby then as i said shoot up just interesting to me
