Si I'm going into the 11th grade this year. But after 10th grade, with distracting girls. and a teacher who said for me to give up 10th grade ( I was AB honor roll all my life til now). so after barely passing 10th grade, i hear 11th grade is the hardest of all in high school. and if that's right, i think i'm for a surprise this year. any tips on getting through Junior Year?

I'm going into Junior year as well, so I have no experience, but let me say this:

Lots of people told me sophomore year was the hardest year in high school, but I really didn't notice a difference in anything from Freshman to Sophomore year. Here are my tips: I really just wouldn't worry about it, and treat it neutrally. Don't enter thinking "this is going to be the hardest year." Do your homework, and talk to your teachers. Try hard, and don't give up! It won't be that hard.

Good luck! :D

I just finished my junior year, and I'm not gonna lie, it is important. You have to worry about SATs, final exams, and on top of all of your regular coursework, you have to start looking at colleges. Junior year is the year that colleges look at because applications for college go out in the fall of your senior year, so they won't have that year to base you on.
You really use have to do your best. If you had to choose one year to really get to work, make it your junior year. Do your best, because colleges really will turn you down.

Just work as hard as you can. You don't need to give up your social life, just make sure you make time to study and do you work.

I'm going to be a junior as well and it's a good feeling to finally be "upperclass" per say. I, of course, don't have any tips of my own but here's some from people (siblings, friends, and even parents):

- Keep your grades up (shoot for A's and B's)
- If you've been lazy your 9th and 10th grade years, then now would be the time (and only time if you're planning to go to college) to join clubs, sports teams or anything else extracurricular
- If you seem to be falling behind in your work or your grades aren't looking too good, stay after with the teacher(s) (important)
- Don't stress and have fun...my friend (she was a junior this past year) had two AP classes, and a job, and me and her still hung out very often. So it's not like you won't be able to have a social life during your junior year

So, I hoped this helped, because those tips have definitely helped me to not stress out for my junior year. Good luck! (:
- This is a good year to take the SAT, as it's not recommended to wait til your senior year
