Months without cutting failed...

:( me and my girlfriend got in a very very deep discussion that was extremely depressing. First I want to say it WASNT a fight. It wasnt arguing. And recently my biological mom finally told me how my biological dad died and it was by suicide. 5 Minutes later she told me "If you were a real man you wouldn't be such a pussy cutting yourself. Real men hang themselves" All this combined made me cut :'( and this was after 6 months of not cutting. :'( i feel horrible and don't know how to tell my girlfriend...

dont let what she said to you make you feel bad. she obviously doesnt understand what its like to be a cutter. you are in control of your life. prove her wrong and show her that real men dont hang themselves. real men do what they have to do to be the best person they can be! best of luck!

Don't listen to your mom. Cutting doesn't mean you are weak. Be strong! You know you can go 6 months without cutting, try for longer this time.
