but r girls afraid to admit they masturbate ?

cuz when I ask my gf if she does, she said no even though u could tell shes lying

It's not that thier afraid, it's that, well, since the middle ages, women were considered "dirty" and "unholy" if they even had just thier hymen broken before marriage, which would even include musturbating. They just don't want people to think of them as "dirty" as opposed to just being scared.

Well...it depends on the girl, and it depends on how your relationship is with them.

Some girls are more private about things like that, and won't admit it, but for others; it's different.

Also, if you don't have a very close relationship with the girl, then she won't want to admit something so private as masturbation.

It also depends on the environment when you ask the question. She is more likely to tell the truth if you are in a private place, just you and her.

I actually don't tell a guy until we're closer. I'm not going to tell a brand new boyfriend of mine that I masturbate. Also, I am more incline to answer them when we are in private. I think girls consider themselves "dirty" if they do, just like "Dack" explained. Also, I know some guys (even dated a couple) that once they found out they expect to do more and even push it sometimes. I know not all guys are like that though; I really do. (I don't want guys to start yelling at me about that comment. I know all guys aren't alike.)

most of my good friends know that I do..and I know that they do..plus I guess anyone that reads these forums knows now..but it's not something I would casually talk about with a guy unless it was my bf and we were very close.

It is a social thing, guys in some ways "brag" about it and therefore it is more socially accepted while girls "believe" it is wrong so it is less socially accepted. People just do what the people around them do, or at least they say that is what they do :P
