Ok people, I'm really really angry, so angry if the admins didn't hover over us I'd be swearing up a storm right now

Idk if you've all heard but there is a story where a man asks his wife for divorce and she retaliates with drugging him then chopping of his penis (the whole thing) and then proceeded with throwing it down the garbage disposal. After she is arrested it makes headlines and this BS talk show on CBS called "the talk" discusses about it. The Talk is a bunch of hens talking about anything, basically CBS' version of "The View" and they all berate and poke fun and laugh at the victim and one of the hosts was sensible and said "if someone cut off a woman's breast no one would be laughing, so why are we laughing at this?" and one of the dumb ass hosts go and says "but it's different because one's floppy and one is ..... (drained out from laughter from the sheeple audience)"

also another story is a man robbed a woman's store, she beats the living hell out of him, and ties him up and uses him as a sex slave for 3 days. No public outcry Ie've heard. It seems people are ok with women doing it to men but not vice verse.

what is up with these feminists and their stupid double standards of a man does something it's horrible and a woman does it it's "empowering"?

My question for you is what do you think of these stories and the people relating to them, what do you think of the View/Talk, and what do you think of feminist's?

as long as the women who commited these crimes are punished appropriately then does it really matter. i think that women and men should have the same rights, the same punishments, and the same standards but you cant change how people think so the fact that certain people might have different views than you is inconsequential since its only natural for different people to have different opinions on things. you might think its not justice but the women on "the talk" obviously believe differently it happens and i dont think its a big deal.

I don't like extreme feminists and women who think they can get away with things.

This has NOTHING to do with feminism. Let's get that straight. This is about an issue in society where abusing women has become worse than abusing men. This idea came about because men were generally perceived as tougher and able to take care of himself while the woman was fragile and weak, and needed protection. Just because times have changed and the world isn't like this anymore doesn't mean people's attitudes have changed. But this is NOT a issue of feminism.

I am a feminist. And when I read that article I felt sick. I didn't laugh or find it amusing in the slightest. I pitied the poor guy and hoped the women gets the punishment she deserves. Because this has nothing to do with women being represented, or women being equal, which are issues feminists are concerned about. It's an issue of humanity/basic human rights. If a few women find this story funny then they're at fault. You can't base your whole perception on feminism on just these few women. They don't represent feminism at all.

Okay, let me just say that I do not believe in that "feminism" whatsoever. Women deserve to be equal but the double standards everywhere. For instance, have you ever seen a man in a Swiffer commercial? No because "men are dirty and lazy." They're portrayed as idiots and jerks by the media often. Sexism goes both ways.

However, I will say that the woman who "kidnapped" the man who was trying to rob her store and used him as a sex slave just made me laugh my ass off.

It depends on the situation. I lol'd at first. But when I read that he was beaten as well I serious'd. It's not right in any way or form but it was an amusing thought to imagine a woman working behind the counter of her store when a big man comes in to rob her she decides to tie him up and "use him" for sex.

Also, forced sex on adult males is not as psychologically damaging as on females unless they are penetrated.
