"sniper" or simllar word in your ID name for online

When you play a game online on your PS3 XBOX PC whatever some people put Sniper in there names or like Snipz or something like that. The funny thing is they never snipe at all its like i have come to relize this more with COD black ops where you can look at your "Combat Record" whitch gives you the ability to see other people stats.

So when i was last on COD BO a few days ago i saw maybe 15 people at diffrent points with the word sniper in there name or something close to that. So i decided i would check the player card and check there stats for to see if they did so i thought "ok sniper will be the favriout gun" and when i checked out of the 10 i did check there favriout weapon was not a sniper it was a SMG "so then i thought ok second favriout then. checked and we have the AK47. OK maybe a sniper rifle is the most accurate weapon on no look its the Famas...So then i was like "how many kills has this person got with a sniper" "oh look 30 kills with a sniper rifle".... now only 2 people out of the 10 i did check had lived up to there sniper name.

So what is your opinon with people who have things like Sniper in the name...do you think it should rep what they use or is it just a name to you.

I think it should rep what the person uses as i mean why put it otherwise.

So whats your views?

I don't really have a problem with it. It doesn't really have an effect on the game. For all we know they used to like to snipe and now they can't change their name. In the case of the PSN.

It's been happening a lot with the recent Free-to-Play update for TF2. I really don't care too much, but if their name centers around sniping and they play Heavy, I laugh a bit.

I have sniper in my name yet i dont use snipers often in The CoD games made by treyarch only the IW ones

I don't care about peoples names. Mine is, "RussianUnicorns" but I'm not Russian and clearly not a Unicorn.
