Sad because I cant help my friend .

One of my friends has a really tough family situation, and worst of all I can't do anything to help them .! It makes me sad because I can't imagine being in a situation like that . How can I help them ? It just makes me sad to hear that things are going so poorly in their life . Also I'm already depressed , and this isn't helping me be less depressed all of the time .

By the way, I'm not sure if I put this in the right section ? Anyway if it's in the room section, please move it .

All you can do is let them know your there for them. You might not understand what their going though but you can tell them you will try, try and empathise with them.

It sounds like your friend needs a shoulder to cry on, just let them know that you are there for them. And will help them in any way you can.

Comfort them as best you can. If you can't help in a direct way then just support them as much as you can, they'll probably need a stable friend in their lives. Best of luck :)

Well, I'm afraid I'm not friends with the person anymore . Maybe they're stressed out from what's going on at home . Although I don't think we are friends anymore , I still feel bad about what they're having to go through .
