ok so i just got my time of the month today and on saturday i am going to a water park wiht like 20 other people... a few are HOT teenage guys about my age, possibly a little older (like 16 17). im 14.

i know there is the whole tampon thing, but i cant use tampons the first couple days bc it hurts like hell. aftr like 2 or 3 days im good and i can use them.

what should i do bc im wearing a bathing suit, tank top, and short short.

the whole fact that there will complete strangers in the park and on L.I. there are alot of creepy guys. so i have never gone wiht out a shirt and a form of pants on in a park like this. (Splish Splash)

:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

Any suggestions

My friend had the same thing happen when we went to a water park. She put a pad in and just wore shorts over her bathing suit so nobody could tell. She had to change it like constantly but it was better then not being able to go at all I guess.

You should try a tampon anyways and just make sure you put it in right, it shouldn't hurt especially if you get super small ones.

you just need to get tampons that fit you better. when you find the right ones they are no big deal, and then you wont worry.

Well, your best bet is try to try and use tampons. Wearing pads could cause lots of problems if they get wet and stuff from the water. Maybe you aren't using the right brand or size of tampons that you need. I remember my first time trying a tampon I used a cardboard one and it hurt like HELL. But now I use Tampax Pearl and they are plastic, they work amazing and are very comfortable if inserted right.

Hope I helped!

you should be able to find the right tampons for you

I've been lucky enough to be able to "plan" when I do things like that around that time but I think I would try a tampon if you can..I recently started wearing them a little bit..(on the advice of a friend) and it was weird at first but you slowly get used to it.
