I am 18, and I used to be really modest but I am more open now. My dad is at home a lot and I would like to know whether it is acceptable to be naked in front of him. I wouldn't be doing anything obscene, maybe just going from the shower to my room.

The only thing I can think of is asking "Dad, would it matter to you if I walked naked from my room to the shower?" and if he says it would bother him, then deal with it.

My dad and me both swim at the Y sometimes at the same time so we see each other naked there in the shower and steamroom. So I don't think its a big deal if your dad sees you naked going from your room to shower. But if you are going to hang out naked while he is home I guess I would just ask him if hes ok with it.

I don't see a problem, after all he's your dad, if anyone has seen you naked it's him and your mum. As long as you don't shake it around in his face, and it is just from your room to the bathroom I don't see a problem.

He would be better off just doing it & dealing with what happens afterwards. His dad may feel uncomfortable about seeing his son nude or he may not. Only one way to find out.

idk if you ask him that might be weird too. how do you bring something like that up? this isn't something I would want to do but if you want to do it I'd just do it once to see his reaction. if he's all, "jesus christ! this isn't the garden of eden! put some damn clothes on!" then you know he's not cool with it and you don't do it anymore. but if he doesn't say anything at all or just says something like, "nice tan line Nature Boy" then you know he doesn't care.
