So the title prity much says it, i havent been able to go to sleep at my normal time (12) in about a week or so. Insted i just lie awake untill 1:30 or 2. It's really starting to affect me but I don't want to tell my mom or dad cause then i would feel like a pussy but, i don't know what to do. When school starts and I have to wake up at 6 in the morning I'm gana be screwed, what do i do???

Well first of all, calm down :) I suggest taking a warm bath 30 minutes to and hour before sleeping. And make sure you are being active enough during the day to be tired at night

Try to wake up earlier in the morning and keep yourself busy. By this I mean do not spend all your time inside on the computer or doing whatever it is that might keep you stationary. The more you do to work your body the more tired you will be at night.

nope just compleatly out of the randome i can't sleep anymore and i think it funny how people are like "make sure you don't sit around all day" cause wedensday i was out doing stuff all day and that was one of the latest nightes i had.

If you were going to sleep at 12 to be up at 6 for school and your sleeping in now, then you will stay up later. so instead of 12-6 sleeping its 2-8 or what ever

I always drink a mug of luke warm milk with a table spoon of honey. then im out in like 10 15 min. Drink it slowly and enjoy it over a few minutes, ( like you would with a cup of tea)

If possible, go to bed earlier?
Perhaps 10 would work, or maybe 11. Do a bit of exercise.
Maybe put on some relaxing music(steady beat, something like trance, perhaps) on your ipod or whatever and set the "sleep timer" to turn off after maybe an hour or two.
Then think of a pleasant memory. Spending time with your best friend, playing with a pet, maybe. Be positive, and you'll fall asleep eventually.

try laying in bed with ur ipod plugged into ur ears!

Stay awake for 24 hours and then do a lot the next day so you'll be tired enough to go to bed when you used to.

Ya my bro told me to take some of his melatonin and i did, it wasn't a plesant experianc, i went to bed but i woke up at like 4 in the morning and couldn't sleep for like half and houre and when i woke up in the morning my head felt like it would explode.
