What do you guys think? After the outrage that was caused by Friday everyone hates her but has not gave her a chance. I was one of the few that liked Friday but the Auto-tune ruined it.
Her new song 'My Moment', I believe has Auto-tune but way way less than Friday and it's a catchy song. But it's already got a number of dislikes due to Friday.
What do you guys think? Personally, I love it! Getting it on iTunes to pop on my iPod for school tomorrow.

Its actually not bad at all.
If this had been released instead of Friday, it would probably be way moar popular.
People are only disliking it cause its cool to hate her.

But if it was that way she would not be popular. The reason she got all this fame is due to the hate of the song and all of that. The other Ark artists have no where near as much attention.

I don't dislike Rebecca Black because of Friday, I just generally hate a lot of new music today period and her style of music, her shitty flow, her nasty fashion appeal and most of all her lack of musical composition and theory, makes her especially look bad. This song is absolutely no different. It feels like I'm listening to Rick Astley, but Rick Astely actually had talent, and repeated himself, she has NO talent and repeats herself insipidly and annoyingly, with her parents jammed up her ass pressuring her and her lack-of actual heart in the music, she'll only be a disgrace and lowly impression to this generation and prove me more right about that genre.

Maybe if they didn't auto-tune her to death,it wouldn't be a complete piece of poo.

Rebecca Black did a good job on this, improving her style of neocrust art pop into an original sub genre of the art pop genre itself, in which she's created post-nexus pop. Of course, people aren't willing to accept change (thus the dislikes), but she's willing to be experimental and change music. Nobody has really taken a bigger movement of creating a wave of fans and inspirations since Nirvana's noisy grunge came out from the jesus lizard inspired garages of hell.
This is a good thing, my men. It's about time we had an ACTUAL musician do something that we will remember in start off the new blast of excitement for this decade to come.
oh my fuck that was hard to type.

I actually kinda' like it. Friday was terrible when I heard it first but after a couple of times I found it was one of those songs you hate to love. I think this one is way better than Friday though, the lyrics are 10 times better too!

It's not as bad as Friday, that's for sure.
I still don't like it, but that's not because of her, it's because I just really don't like this style of music.

I think its better than Friday its not as annoying or lame. It actually sounds like song. Im giving her credit here and saying this is a step up from Friday and I think it sounds good. Also the music video is a lot better than the way Friday was set up.

I guess, not as bad as "Friday" in terms of (in my personal opinion,) cheesiness, but I still found it very repetitive and whatnot. I'm not sure that she really meant what she was saying... I didn't see the emotion in it. It wasn't a song she wrote, but it would be nice if it was something she could connect to more. I personally didn't care for it, and probably wouldn't listen to it again.

But I like the "Fuck you guys" message she's sending.

I don't like it. I don't think it's catchy. It's auto tuned. and the music video just annoys me. It's not just her, if anyone made those facial expressions I would be annoyed.
I don't even think the lyrics are better then Friday. All she is doing is saying My moment over and over again. And Friday was pretty amazing when they sang it on Glee.
Oh, and I don't like Friday, but it's so much more catchy then this song. Even though it's annoying. I like the beat better.

Not saying this about the people on here. But I think most people are going to find this song horrible just because of 'Friday'. I kinda wish some people would form opinions based on what they think, and not follow the others'. But thats not gonna happen anytime soon.

I don't know about the song... but she looks too happy. Who gives a fuck if it's her moment? Did she pop happy pills or something? I wouldn't be that happy.

The problem with the song is the beat. It's way too mellow and quiet.

I'm not going to be a whiny bitch just because Friday sucked,
But I'm not totally crazy about this one either.
As far as original goes, it's like any other teen singer's song.
It's a huge step from Friday though, which made me think she was borderline retarded.
She doesn't sound like her nasal passages are stuffed up in this one,
You can actually hear a somewhat good voice, even if it's auto-tuned.
Of course it's going to be auto-tuned though,
It's what people seem to like at the moment, so it will get more hits.
The target group is obviously young teenage girls,
So of course it's not going to appeal to the masses.
She's making some progress.
All artists have to deal with trial and error.
Now if she can do some better songs and improve somewhat on the vocals,
Then I could see a possible music career.

I like it and I say go Rebecca. Don't let those lame ass haters hate on you.
No, I didn't like Friday at all. But I wasn't running around, acting like a stupid, immature idiot, mocking the song all the time and publicly making my disgust for the song public. I didn't It's ridiculous, the fact that people are seriously so immature makes me cringe. For every person who ever hates on her, I just want to punch in the face. Same thing with Justin Bieber. They both obviously did something right, because they are banking off of all of the hate that their haters are getting.
Anyway, yes. I do think her new song is good, it shows she's remaining strong and that's good.
Good luck Rebecca.

I thought Friday was delightful. It made me laugh the whole way through. I still believe they made it awful on purpose. And they got what they wanted. Millions of views in only 3 days. She won.

Its better than friday but not much of an improvement. You can still hear the auto tune in her voice, which proves she cant sing and the arrangement was mediocre and boring. Its not different from any other tween pop song :P

It's a definite improvement compared to all the other songs Ark Music Factory has produced. It seems like they're actually getting better at auto tuning I still can't admit I like it, but it's an improvement.

I do admit people were over board with Friday, but there is always(very sadly) going to be someone is going to be the current punch line of everything.I think Rebeca took it pretty well.I'm not really a fond of these two songs because it doesn't appeal really appeal to me(yet some chic like Demi does). But people are going to get picked on sadly,it's just nature of the evil :P .

Well, it's better than Friday (that's not really hard to achieve though...) but it's still a fucking awful 'song'. People that like this are people that really shouldn't listen to music. There isn't really any recognisable talent shown (apart from her producer's improvement in using auto-tune), the synths and beat could have been in 100 other songs for all I know, they're that generic, it's repetitive, the message of the song is flawed as she's going on about it being her 'moment' when it's not, she's not famous; she's infamous (there is a difference) and no-one really likes her music. If I was her I'd just completely disappear for a few years so people forget about me, take some vocal and song writing lessons and maybe come back with a new image, stage name etc and some decent songs that would get me noticed for the right reasons.

The first 15 seconds or so bored me, and to be honest I haven't got the attention span to sit through that entire song and give her even just a little bit of my concentration. I don't care about Rebecca Black and I have better things to do than hate her and keep babbling on about her just like everybody else does.

Tbh, it's not a bad song, but just because Rebecca Black sang it, some people absolutely hate it. Let's say if Taylor Swift or Rihanna sang the song, the ratings for it would be higher. A lot higher. Not as catchy as Friday though xD

I agree with this. The song itself isn't bad, but if someone else were to sing it, it could be better.

No other voice in this world could make this song good. It's better than 'Friday' but that's not exactly an achievement either so I don't understand this influx of undeserved compliments for another shitstain on music.
