There's nothing different between Rebecca Black's music and any other major mainstream pop artist (including the use of autotune, just take one look at the charts). All you'll find is that people hate her not because the concept of the song is about partying, but it's a thirteen year old with a somewhat worse voice singing about partying on a Friday, which somehow makes everybody hate it.

Up N Down is one of the better songs off her new album though, even if the whole thing is epic.
If you really want a "rockier" sound, her song Don't Keep Me Waiting has a rock influence in it.
