Scene: You are the head of a major pharmacutical company and you have the vaccine for the cold.
1) Do you release it to the public? or do you keep it a secret?
* if you do keep it a secret your company will make billions of $$$ a year because people always get sick
2)Do you think there is a vaccine for the cold?

Money does not matter to me, so I would not keep it a secret. As far as a vaccine, I think there is one.
These scenes are a great idea, Dante!

i'd do both
I'd tell the world but i'd patent the vaccine
so anybody who didnt want to get sick would have to pay me for the imunization

Personally I would go for making money from it. Either that or someone else would. Plus if you were to sell it at a reasonable price, a lot of people would pay it and wouldn't think they are being ripped off. Business is a dog eat dog world!
I don't think there is a vacine for the cold because as soon as we get something that fixes it, the virus will mutate and we are back at square one.

I would keep it a secret but the costs for the public to buy it wouldn't be high
And I'd do it because if I wouldn't someone else would

I'd keep it a secret for 2 reasons. First, because no one else would know and i would make all the money. Second, because after I make in the millions or possibly billions, i could sell the secret for even more.
Do i think its possible? Maybe, but it will take awhile to be discovered, and as redcar said, it could possibly mutate, and we would have to rechange the vaccine, which could take a helluva lot of years

Another side of the coin, if a vacine was discovered, big companies that make vitamins, cold medice etc. could pay big money to supress it, because if a vacine became avalable their products become defunct.
