We do think thing with vinegar,,
Mix it about 50 / 50 with water in a spray bottle and spray it on your skin, for you face just blot it with the vinegar and water and a paper towel, i know it make you smell a bit but it does help with the stinging....
Im sure you can google it...

Give yourself a green tea compress. Brew up a pot of green tea and let it cool. Soak a clean cloth in the tea, and use it as a compress for sunburned areas. The tea contains ingredients that help reduce inflammation.

For extra-painful spots of sunburn, rub the area gently with sliced cucumber or potato. They contain compounds that cool the burn and help reduce swelling.

Vinegar contains acetic acid—one of the components of medications such as Aspirin. It can help ease sunburn pain, itching, and inflammation. Soak a few sheets of paper towels in white vinegar, and apply them to the sunburned areas.

If the sunburn itches, take a cool bath, but add two cups of vinegar to the bathwater before you get in.

Mix baking soda and vinegar to make a thick paste, and slather it over the sunburned areas. Apply the salve before bedtime, and leave it on overnight.

Depending on how severe and the location of the sunburn, you should wear loose clothes to reduce chafing. You can probably find more remedies online somewhere...

I had the same problem like 2 days ago, pretty ba sunburn all over shoulders and back. I don't use any creams or aftersun on holiday I just sat it out. It's not really that bad just a bit stingy and tight feeling if you think of it as pain is just in the head.
