Hey everyone, I have a question. My friend and I are pretty close and we talk about everything. The other day we were talking about shaving our pubes (which we both do) and I told him that I usually shaved, waited for it to come back, then shaved again. He said that that could cause ingrown hairs for not shaving constantly...Is that true? Thx

well, after your first time shaving, you will always be prone to getting ingrown hairs because your pubes will grow back more coarse then when you didnt shave. But some people get their hair back faster or slower than others. You just gotta know when you think its time to shave. And trust me, having ingrown hairs for the first time is never fun. Last time i got it, it was itching super bad. The only thing i could do is wait until it grew out a little bit, then shave again. You never want to shave while the ingrown hair is started to itch your skin because if you shave, you will only irritate your skin even more and you will be more likely to get a rash.

It can at first, but as you shave more and more you'll know when the right time to shave is and how to do it properly.
