I know this can be quite the heated debate, but I have to ask. Where do most stand on this topic? While I support things like Plan-B or situations where that would work; late term abortions cannot be justified in my opinion as a mother should have decided weither she is going to keep the baby in the first month or not. After that I think it's an individual and that she is responsible for what she brought onto this earth.

I'm pro-choice but not pro-abortion. I fully support the woman's right to choose. I should have the right to choose whether or not to have an abortion. Personally I would not want any kids at all, let alone get an abortion but if I want one, I'll get one, especially if I cannot care for the baby (but that is only if I want one, and I probably won't). I understand adoption is a better option, but some people will not change their minds and will still get one anyways

I am also pro-choice. I think most people doing it, should. They weren't responsible enough to use protection the first time around, they aren't responsible enough to take care of a child.

Very interesting response. I actually was motivated to read this because of the Pro-Choice group on VT. While I find this statement very well thought out. It also seems very generic and ill focused. I feel that women should take due care to insure late term pregnancies aren't aborted; this in my eyes is negligent.
Ah, this would explain the generic nature of your response...

Copying and pasting really doesn't make you seem like a competent person not really sure what your purpose is in doing that.

I have nothing wrong with abortion. If a girl or woman cannot be safe then she can't look after a baby. It is better to take it out of the world before it enters than to let it into the room without a stable family or mother.

Pro choice and pro abortion! Who are you to tell a woman what to do with her body? Who are you to tell a woman that she has to suffer through migranes and morning sickness for 9 months and then go through horrible pain while giving birth? The adoption system is very corrupted, why add another miserable child to the system? Some kids are not adopted and live in an orphanage until 18! How would you feel if you knew you weren't wanted and were abandoned in an orphanage? Sure late abortions are wrong, but if a woman isn't ready for a baby and wants an abortion, let her...it's her body. (By the way by "you" I didn't actually mean "you" I was just stating my opinion on this ) But yeah if she wants an abortion, better get it quick!

I'm pro-abortion. Women have right to their own body (I'm sure its somewhere in the constitution). Every year 750,000 teenagers between the ages of 15-19 become pregnant. 27% of those teens had abortions(202,500). Apparently, something I didn't know, is that in 36 states teens who have an abortion must involve a parent(bullshit). Abortion is an option for pregnant teens. Apparently there are 42 mill. abortions per year. Now lets say 50% of those mothers would do anything to terminate the pregnancy. So would you rather have the mother have a minor surgery in a clean environment or in the back of a van located in a dark alley. There are other options as well such the mother beating in her own abdomine or drinnking/smoking.

I'm Pro-abortion as long as it is done in the first month or two. The world is over populated anyway.
