Ok now in the debate forum, we always get usually the same type of questions, war in iraq, or abortion, religion, yada yada yada.
I am trying to introduce something new and it is usually for the non-traditional debate questions.
Scene: You and your friends decide to go out to eat, one of your friends is wealthy. Just because he/she are rich, do they automatically pay for everyone? Do you expect them to? should they offer?

If it was me, I would say each pay our own.

Totally agree with bobby.
Just because someone is wealthy doesnt mean they should treat a group of friends to food.
They earned it themselves; and im positive you didn't keep it by giving it away; correct? haha.
But yes, pay for your own.
unless its like.. an event that you host :]

I would say the same, I would say we each pay our own, unless we went out a lot, then I would have each person rotate as to who has to pay. The only way I wouldn't have each individual pay their own,is if someone else offers to pay for everything, or if someone truly is short on cash, but if someone is short on cash they'd have to pay back who ever spotted them.

If they are rich it doesn't matter. They aren't obligated to pay just because they have more money. My friends and I will do sometimes is when one is short on cash and we want to eat, the one with money pays and next time we go out, the person who didn't pay last time pays, even if the person who pays last time has money. Kinda like a fair trade. Normally though we'll pay our own unless circumstances arise like I stated earlier.
I once had a friend who didn't like to pay so when he said hey man let's go out to mdonalds or whatever, I said I'm short a few dollars so you can just pay with the money you owe me from last time. That stopped him!

No.. The person could pay when a friend is in financial trouble or something like that but they are all fine with their cash everyone will pay for themselves..

Everyone should pay their own way. It should not be down to whoever happens to have the most money. It's common courtesy.

The political correct thing to say would be: everyone pays their own, but lets be real. If your friend is a millionaire and you guys go out to eat, in the back of your mind you expect him to pay because hes freakin rich and human nature would expect nothing less.

I wouldn't expect anyone to pay for me, but I am weird that way, I hate taking money from people. I prefer to pay my own way.
But I do like to do stuff for my friends when I can.

Well, if I was out dining with a millionare, I'd pray he'd be paying, because we'd probably be at a fancy-shmancy restaurant, where the appetizers cost as much as a house. But I thought of something new to add, if its just casual and you have a richer friend, as said in Fergie's song Glamorous, "If you ain't got no money take your broke ass home".
In other words, be prepared to pay, don't expect your rich friend to pay every time, he needs money for himself too ya know.

Well theres a difference between not paying because you can't financially and not paying when you can afford to but you're being a freeloader.
