Pffft. My ipod has a bigger capacity than that and jailbreaking is easy. If you really don't want an ipad and have a lot of uses for it, I'd say sell it. Put up an ad on craigslist or something to find someone locally who'll buy it. Saves much of the stress of sending the thing away and receiving the money.
