Could someone exPlain how the whole friends contacts and private message system works? Thanks

in order to PM you need 100 posts, but you can still PM a staff member

well you recive a friend request and accept them they will appear in the notifications in the top right hand corner same for private messages and visitors message and these will be links which take you to the apprioate pages

If you don't have 100 posts, then I believe you can recieve PMs(from both staff and other members), but can't send them.
