About me being bisexual.
Is it weird that i was in denial for a long time?
like my brain totally said Fuck It! You like and are attracted to both sexes.
i have been looking at girls for a year or so and i think they are hot. and i like boys who are also hot.
So im bi.
I am happy that i finally got out of denial.

Self- acceptence is probably of the toughest things to achieve. Some people go through their whole lives in denial. Very happy for you!!! :) it brings a freedom that just can't be explained.

nope its not wierd at all its just that is the society we are in where we have a certain way of thinking so saying hey i might like both sexes is like oh wow im wierd but really if you like them and are true to yourself then its ok

Congratulations! Acceptance of who you are is so tough for so many people, because we are taught from birth to fit into social norms and customs without question because it's simply what's "right."

I say, fuck that, I want to by myself, not what society thinks I should be. How is it in an individualist society, we become so hard bent on fitting in?

It isn't weird, by the way. It took me a while to get used to the idea that I like men. It's all because of how we are raised. As a boy, you're raised to be tough, not to cry, to like women, to get a good job like being a doctor, lawyer, etc. You're taught to be focused on things like cars, boobs, sports, and beer.

For girls, there is the same type of teaching, your taught to be sensitive, to like men, you're taught to focus on clothing, appearance and image, etc.

It's all a bit of psychotic conditioning really.

Sorry for this being long winded, congratulations again on coming a little closer to complete self acceptance and developing your own identity!

Like others have posted, Approving of oneself is one of the hardest things for humans to do sometimes. Good for you. The world needs to be more accepting of people who don't follow the "normal path." You are a great example to others. :)
