Hi guys. I am 15 years old and overweight. I want to lose weight as I feel that I am reasonably good at hurling (my favourite sport)

Actually you can snack..just cut down on how much you eat..exercise..burn more calories than you take in..because that will make you lose weight

Well, I hate to say it but running is an excellent option. Works so many different muscles. The resistance provided by swimming is also great for you. Eat plenty of protein. And it's okay to snack but eat healthier stuff. In a day, I have cereal for breakfast, a sandwich for lunch, and whatever my mom serves for dinner. Good snacks include yoghurt, unsalted unbuttered popcorn, apples, bananas and veggies. That works for me. Good luck!

At your younger age, i think the best diet routine/program for you is proper diet (more on fruits and vegetables; less on meaty and fatty foods-better to eat more fishes. avoid snack foods and alcoholic and beverages drinks) and regular exercise (at least 2-3 hours everyday. You must be consistent about this). If you would do this, every week, 5-10 pounds will lose on you. Just an input, there's a commercial being aired about the natural weight loss supplement Slender Factor. They said it's safe and effective to take. With the benefits mentioned during that commercial, i must say that it's impressive.

I would recommend just eating less fatty foods and more of a balanced diet. But also swimming and running will burn a lot of calories. I swim, because it works your arms and legs, where running is more of the legs. Also, lifting weights is great! If you build more muscle, it will take place of the fat. But balanced foods, running/swimming, and anything with muscles. That is my advice

Curling requires you to be fit? haha sorry but when I picture curling, I don't picture a person needing to be fit. Well besides the fact, you can eat right, run, and lift weights. those are the only things and the best things you can do.

If u can get yourself into a gym, u need endurance and strength for hurling as u know, go for a run everyday, dont go hell for lether on the first day, build you fitness over time, work on your upper body strength, btw what position do u play, i was a left half forward, dont play anymore just did it for school.

P90X will literally whip your ass into shape. You just have to actually follow the workout and watch your diet.

Another thing is instead of eating three large meals a day you could do smaller portioned meals six times a day.

Not even six meals all the time. Maybe just a protein shake
