ok sooo heres the deal....
whenever i shave all my pubic hair it gets red and bumpy. i did some research, and learned it was ingrown hairs. I really don't like pubic hairs, so not shaving is out of the question. i also learned online to not shave against the grain, but when i do that it isn't completely smooth. I can't get waxing becuase im afraid of the pain, don't want to ask my mom to take me, and don't think i have any other way to get there. The bumps are embarassing and i really don't knwo what to do! Any advice...???

You can eather not shave or take a pair of sissors and trim it.

take a pair of scissors and trim the hair very short then if u dont like the results of a regular razor, i suggest getting one of those electric shavers that are meant for very sensitive skin. i used to see commercials for those things all the time. once u get that just try it out a lil and if it works then just use that every couple of days to keep ur pubes shaved while using it often will make it so shaving ur pubic area in some sort of way wont make the skin so irritated.

If you want your Pubic area fully clean of hair, like bald, then the only option i know of is waxing. Shaving does indeed irritate the skin, (I know). So the only other option is to trim your hair as much as possible, yet not get rid of it entirely. I personally have shaved my pubic hair, but not all the way to the skin, just enough on top so that it doesn't look too overgrown, but its still there.

But if you do want all your hair gone, then consider waxing. It does hurt, yes, but its only a one time deal, (that i know of), and i think it prevents the hair from coming back...(Or does it? I'm not sure...)
