I seem to go through phases, each lasting about one or two months. Like back in september and october I was really interested in cities, and all I would do is research and design them. Then it shifted to skyscrapers after a few months and quickly went to architecture. I would design houses in my free time, and I thought I would be an architect when I grew up.

A few months later, someone introduced the idea that maybe marijuana isn't all that bad, so over three months the idea grew on me and I tried pot in March. It didn't stop there, because I turned into a total stoner until I stopped for personal reasons. Then I proceeded to turn into a hippie, and I went through a Beatles phase which turned into a music phase and I spend my time writing and listening to music. I don't know what's next.

Is this normal for a fifteen year old? My dad says it's because I'm young and increasingly exposed to the world, and adults do the same thing, but their 'phases' last longer. What concerns me is that they occupy my mind and I tend to obsess and talk about it.

I guess this is about cognitive development more than physical puberty, but alas I'll keep it here. It's pretty normal to go through phases like this - you're learning more about your surroundings and for whatever reason everyone seems to do it. Don't worry about; enjoy life, it's not a problem at all.

It happens to the best of us, I evolved from food to photography to fashion to food again to weight loss to....

It really evolves and even adults go through it, they just happen to have them last longer.

Thanks guys, I guess my problem is that I talk about them too much and annoy people.
