Shouldn't these things (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/announcement.php?f=254&a=207) be updated and whatnot? :P

They still serve their intended purpose, so that would be necessary.
Why, is there something wrong with it?

Mods come and go.

So?
If the information is accurate, then why bother updating it?

If the information is accurate, then why bother updating it?
Because the mods of the forum just might have changed?

I edited it, btw.

I still don't understand, but hey, that's just me.

If you would clicked the link I had provided, you would have seen that the mods listen under the announcement aren't all the active mods. There are different mods now than what are listed. Not a hard concept at all.

Wow. I didn't know updating a page that has old information on it is some foreign concept to you.

Again, if the information is still accurate, then I don't see the need to update it.
Or do you mean that you want the mod/admin that made that announcement to have one of those status faces or something?
IMO, you could make them an admin of the announcements forum or something.
If that's not what you mean, could you please elabourate to as fine detail as you can? Thanks.

The information in the old announcement was not accurate. When that was first made, specific people were assigned to that forum. Today, the people assigned to that forum have changed (different people essentially). If left unchanged, unwary members could contact ex-moderators who have no power at all, as opposed to us moderators who do.
Get it?

Ah yes, I forgot about that.
Ok, I guess you should change it then.
