I need my coffee/red bull/monster every single day, on minimum at least around two cups of coffee, plus an energy drink here or there sometimes. And sometimes, it's more. I feel shitty/sick without it.

I tried googling this but didn't find much about it.

Also, if it is an addiction, is it psychological or physical?

Sounds to me like you kinda need to lay off the caffeine ;)
Try drinking just a little bit less each day. Hopefully that will get you off that addiction.

Geddit? :)

Yes, it can be a physical addiction. IT's a bitch to break too.

Sounds like withdrawal symptoms. Since caffiene isn't something *illegal*, per se, try cutting down. It helps with the "omfg need now", heart palpitations, and migranes.

It's possible to have a physical or psychological addiction to any substance.

Caffeine can be HIGHLY addicting. Honestly, if you just up and quit drinking anything caffeinated you'll end up with a couple killer headaches for a good amount of time. Like stated above, trying laying off it slowly but surely, because caffeine isn't exactly good for you. The less and less you drink of it, the better!

Well i would not say its a big addiction but it can be an addiction

if you want to stop but back less and less but it depends on the coffee you drink aswell

it's definetly possible. I've been drinking tea since I was around 2 or 3 years old. I drink way too much, like at least 6 cups a day, usually more. I get headaches when I don't drink enough caffiene, I guess cause i've been drinking so much for so long.

I'm not sure if it is physical or psychological, but my dad does. Coffee caused him a lot of health problems, and he decided to just stop drinking it at once.
Now, he has horrible stomach and back aches, his head hurts and he generally feels awful. He said that when he did drink coffee, none of this happened to him except the stomach aches, but they were less intense.
