just curious, ive noticed a lot of talk of people "experimenting" or more with siblings or close relatives. now, im 99% sure incest is illegal (in the US at least). just wondering 1) what leads people to fool around with relatives? and 2) why are people so accepting of such behavior?

ok now im deff not one of them people but people do it because its a risk and excitement..like skinny dipping and people accept it because everybody is different and open minded and want to try something new

Well sometimes they feel close enough to siblings to do stuff like that, just like a friend would. They aren't looking for a relationship.

Though as far as the illegal thing goes, that is stupid. As long as they're not hurting anybody else, why not let them love who they love?? There are worse things in the world than loving your sibling or cousin.

I think there's two different situations we're dealing with here. What most are talking about on VT is just experimenting/masturbating with siblings/cousins. This I'm not so crazy for, but to each his own. I probably have the unpopular opinion though, that if you're actually in love with a family member, that's a different story, and I have less of an issue with this case just because you can't exactly choose who you love. I don't think I could ever do that as it's just a bit uncomfortable since you've associated them as a sibling for so long, but again, to each his own.

i posed the questions because ive never found myself in the situation, and like you said, idk if i would ever feel that way. the love i have for family is different that love for a gf

I think incest is fine if two consenting people love each other. (: Like a brother and sister, brother and brother, sister and sister and cousins and stuff. You don't choose who you fall in love with. Now for having mutated babies, that's another matter. I think incest is a very touchy subject. If a brother and sister love each other and want a child, they can adopt a child, which, would be a positive thing. (:
