Advice Please.....

Hello VT forum...

Now for about a year I have had a crush on this girl. We met at a term long camp and we became really good friends. unfortunately after this camp we both went back to our home towns and we live about 3 hours away from each other. We have kept in touch and met up during most school holidays.

We are good friends but I have feelings for her but don't know if she feels the same way.


Any advice??

Tread carefully. I could be dead wrong, but I've heard that many friendships are ruined when that line is crossed. Your feelings should have a more solid base - lots of time spent doing things together, celebrating birthdays and Holidays, family outings, and sometimes just being there for her when she needs someone to talk to. If she develops feelings for you, it'll be obvious. But until you're 100 %, don't risk this friendship.

thank-you for your advice kyle, i saw her yesterday / last night and yeh she was nice, beautiful as ever, aaaaaannnnndddd in a relationship :P. well that made my choices easier to make.

like they said..Ask Her..the only problem is that being that so far away it makes it hard to have a real relationship

Since you now know she is in a relationship than you can take the time to evaluate your own feelings and let it even out over time. Despite her own new status you can continue being friends with her. There is absolutely no reason why a girl can't have a few guy friends! During a friendship it's a bit easier to prove how you care than when in a relationship (Since they EXPECT you to prove it, then). Perhaps her emotions will change over time and she will begin to see you in a whole new perspective.

well, ya can't have too many friends. I suppose you'll have to put your feelings on hold for a while. sorry to hear she's in a relationship.

Thanks guys, I have nothing wrong with female friends, in fact 90% of my friends are girls. I'll definitely continue being friends with her and who knows what will happen.
