I dont know how many of you are Final Fantasy fans, but what do you guys think of FF13?

Personally, at first the story is a bit weak cause it's like btw, this is going down.
I don't really like Vanille, for someone supposed to be 19, why does she act so naive? And shit, she look likes she's freaking 12...

See, the storyboard makers are sometimes idiots. They think that the demographic of gamers is usually around 15-21, so the make a characters age around that, when in fact some of the characters should appear older or younger for that matter.

FFXIII sucks, get yourself FFVII via PSN.

Get FFXIII X-2(I think that's the name), It should put the first to shame. Apparently it has character development(++++++ for me), awesome scenes, dungeons(hate and love them), a story.

To me Final Fantasy became more about good graphics than a good game after Final Fantasy X. I still have XIII but am struggling to even find the will to play it except for the absolutely amazing cut scene animations.

My favourite Final Fantasy would be IX on PS1, which i'm really tempted to buy off PSN.

FFX is the only FF game I whole heartily love. 12, 13, 10-2, 8, They all don't catch me that much and I hated 12.

X and X-2 were my favourites (: XIII isn't too bad I guess, but it does seem to revolve around the graphics a bit.

Ok, given the odd story development, and a different composer, I still think it's a buy. I liked it. But damn, could the make a more whiney character? I really disliked Hope at first because he was so annoying. I wish that he was an enemy I could fight. Lol but later he got better and less awful. I didn't like Snow that much ether. He's just got that typical meathead personality that I have seen in games and movies way too much. Lightning was my favorite. I love characters shrouded in mystery.

A lot of people hated the new battle system but I really liked it. Even though there where less potions and stuff, I still enjoyed the battles. One complaint about the enemys' though, they are so common until you reach Gran Pulse. Then the viraity kicks in. But sadly, there where no people on Pulse. I would have liked to see maybe a village or something assuming that there are still people on Pulse.
The visuals where stunning! I would sometimes play just to see the story develop and watch the ohh so beautiful cutscenes. I'm totally stoked for FFXIII-2!

FFVII was also one of my favorites. But it is definitely overrated. I don't think that it really should have been such a huge deal.

I didn't like it when you make it to Gran Pulse and it's like "BTW, you gotta grind now or else you'll he seriously underleveled. Cya in 1234567 hours." I mean I know It's half the fun, but when you get there even if you killed EVERYTHING leading to that point you'll still need around 500000 CP to level up enough.

Well

read the in game journal. It was like that for me too because of the way it picked up in the game. Sometimes the plot feels like it makes a sudden discovery of your quest and what you have to do. Why exactly you have to fight orphan in the end when you are trying to save cocoon is something I never got.

Also, if anyone has ever seen Elfen Lied, doesn't Lucy kinda remind you of Lightning?
