as we all know if we click the disable rep button it just takes away the icon that is red or green and replaces it with nurtual or whatever
but what i want to know is why cant we disable the rep completly if we want to huh?
i mean if we could have this added on we could not give or recive rep and i dont think that would be a bad idea now would it?
so what do you guys think?

if its disabled its disable, no point in removing it as some people like it.

Well, I think it wouldst exactly kind to block reputation you give to people after it is given. (almost as redundant as space lab in space the way I worded it)

if you mean one person can completely disable their rep so they are unable to receive or get rep, I don't think that's the way the rep system work, and I don't think it's even possible to do that without completely disabling the whole thing for everyone

Dude I don't know why you make the rep system a big deal. You always come up with threads that make no sense. Please, get over it. Rep is rep, they don't hand out medals to people who have a high rep.

If there's a way for someone to completely disable rep for themselves then I agree it should be activated, but there probably isn't and would be a pain in the arse to create. As has already been stated too, it's not a big deal at all and if you don't want to pay attention to it then you don't have to.

I think it's fine the way it is.Besides,I'm pretty sure it's rather hard to put another code into the HTML*(unless these are pre-written codes).Anyways,if you don't like the rep system, simply disable it.No need to fix it,most people don't have a problem with it anyways.
*I'm not sure if it's HTML or what code it would exactly be.

Personally, I like the rep button. It lets me know if I gave good advice or crappy advice and I wanna know. If I give crappy advice, I want negative rep cause then I know not to say whatever I said again.
