What the hell is a "Cydia"?
Off-topic: You're the one who stole that avatar from Aηdy (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/member.php?u=1265). Or did you?

Cydia is a program you get when you jailbreak your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. It let's you install tweaks and themes for your iDevice, that are not licensed by Apple.
And about me supposedly "stealing" an avatar, I didn't steal anything. I found this avatar myself. I didn't have the intention to steal or copy anyone.

I not support Apple for the boldfaced reason.
You buy a device for a pretty significant amount of money, and you still can't do what you want with it.
Putting it in one phrase: Selling your soul to the Devil.

That is exactly the reason you jailbreak. You no longer have to rely on iTunes or the App Store, or even Apple in general. Plus, with a jailbreak, iOS basically becomes open-sourced.

But once Apple finds out, they can brick your ipod/ipphone/ipad, right?

No. They have no control over what you do with your device. At least not the control to remotely brick your iDevice. And if you don't like your jailbreak, or if you ever have any problems with it (because jailbreaking voids your warranty), you can simply just reset in iTunes, and you'll be back to normal.
And Apple has already found out about jailbreaking, it's been around for years, so even if they could somehow brick your iDevice, I don't they could keep up with the quickly growing jailbreak community... Plus, it's not illegal; it's just frowned upon by Apple.

And I still don't like it.
I support Android because at least that is open source - feed it through gcc and you've got what you want! (And maybe even compatible on similar processors!)
None of this you-don't-know-how-your-very-own-binary-works-and we-can-put-anything-we-want-in-it stuff, plus a proprietary compiler from Apple.

I'll have to agree with you there... I also think that overall Android is better.

So why did you start a thread about Apple stuff, then?

Ever heard the saying, "Make do with what you got"? I'm stuck with an iPod and iPhone, so I thought I'd at least ask other jailbreakers what they recommend on Cydia....

I'm loving most of the tweakweek tweaks!! One of my favorites is also Homescreen Settings, and my brother loves AndroidLockXT.
Oh, Springtomize is another good one, and so is:
-Scrolling Board
-Folder Enhancer
-SBRotator for iOS 4.x.x
-LSRotator
-Graviboard
-Backgrounder (Multitask apps that aren't compatible with the native multitasker such as Cydia)
-Recognizer (Face Recognition to unlock your device!!)
-Safari Download Manager (Works well with iFile)
There are a probably a few more that I can't think of right now...
Edit: To add to the topic, Apple does have a Kill Switch built into iOS in case of some rogue virus that got released by accident, but I believe it only works with AppStore apps... If you don't believe me, check SBSettings, or Google it.
I don't think they have ever used it.
The only think I don't like about Cydia is it can sometimes be a little slow (The backend is APT), but it's faster than what it was!

What's Home Screen settings? And are there any themes you suggest? I'm using Revi-Krs right now and loving it, but I wouldn't mind a change in themes....

"Stuck with"!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
ROFL!!
How do willingly "stuck-ify" yourself with something?
You see something in the store, buy it, and say, "Oops, I just sold my soul to the devil"?
People are weird.....or did I just interpret that wrong?

I didn't ever willingly get my iPhone. It was a gift. And it's not worth the time to sell it, and the buy a Droid. Get it?

I preferred to have my iPod not jail broken. I did have it jail broken, but I didn't use my iPod for anything else besides music and never used it unless at school, so I just took off the jail break

Homescreen settings lets you have any one of your settings in the settings app on your home screen. When you tap it, it opens like a folder.
No.

And just a while ago you weren't...... (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/showpost.php?p=1327737&postcount=9)
(I'm implying that you can't like Windows, Apple, and Linux all at once. You can like a combination of Apple and Windows, but not Windows, Apple, and Linux all at the same time.)

By that, I meant I don't like the Apple Company itself. Their products on the other hand is completely different. I absolutely love Apple's products
