Is it just me or does this affect multiple people? How can I fix it? I have OpenGL on, graphics set to fast, and smooth lighting doesn't make a difference when turned off.

As far as I know, Advanced OpenGL has issues with Minecraft, if you have that on, turn it off.

Lol.
Is it really that big of an issue?
I mean, are you getting like <30-45fps?

A few seconds at a time. I can usually take 20fps and up. Im getting different amounts, like 15FPS, then 20, spikes of around 3, then it jumps to 30...all kinds of crap.

That's.... Quite odd.
And there's nothing in the background that could be hogging up extra resources?

Sometimes my little virus scanning thing starts up, if I am playing I usually just close it. Im gonna try re-installing.
