Yeah, I'm really stupid. And salt and ice doesn't hurt that badly, but I wanted to see if it really did anything and now I have these blotches on my arm. Does anyone know how long it will take to heal or any other information about treating salt and ice burns? Because my mom's flipping out.

I don't know how long they'll last, but the best thing you can do is make sure you keep them clean. Use anti-septic to clean the burns and keep them covered if you can.

It really depends on how long you held it on for. The last time I did that was a few months ago, it remained red and kind of swollen for a week or so and healed up. Now it's just a mark that's darker than the rest of the skin on my arm. However with other salt and ice burns I've done they've faded in just a few weeks. It really does depend on the time you did it for.
Some sort of cream is probably best, as the salt has dehydrated the skin.
