So I FINALLY got my rep up to a shocking +2 Points.
But in my "given reputation" thing, it's all neutral! Even the most recent ones!
I thought that you give 1/2 your rep or something to the person you are repping(?).
Now I hate to sound reduntant, but why is all of my "given rep" neutral?

Because you have no rep power
When you rep somone, you give them all of your rep power, when you neg rep someone, you only neg rep them half of your rep power.
Every 50 rep points is 1 rep power if I'm not mistaken.
Edit: Jumbled thoughts much? :P

you also get +1 rep power for every 1,000 posts and also I THINK every 6 months. I don't know about that. (so you are fast approaching 2,000, you'll have 57 rep power)
@OP are the most recent reps before you got to +2 rep power? If so that's why they are neutral. Before you had no rep power, now you do, so they should be green

Yes, that works mathematically (51 + 1 + 4 = 56). Thanks for telling me.

As Brandon said when you're positive repping someone you'll give them your power in points. For example mine is 134, so If i repped you you would gain 134 points which would push you up 2 maybe 3 rep power levels.
When you're negatively repping someone you will take away half of your rep power in points from them so 134 / 2 = 67 so you would lose 67 which would push you down a level.
Every rep level is 50 points but if you're up to 2 im a bit confused as to why you're still giving neutral rep, usually that only happens when you're on 0-1 rep power.

They were.
Now comes the task of actually upholding that rep....

Thanks, ppl.
IMO, you should consider adding this to the FAQ; that way you won't have people like me making lots of threads for silly questions like this.
If anyone feels like it, they can lock it unless someone else has a question...
