So I've had issues all my life, well since I was about 9 with weight. I've always been a bit big, now not like fat, but big. I do have muscle so that takes up some of my weight.

A few years back, I did drop like 33 pounds. I weighed 193 and went down to like 150 something. Now I'm 16 years old, almost 17 and I am 6 ft, 230 POUNDS. This is my highest weight yet, I know i've been eating badly a lot and I've been a bit depressed. My main issue is getting out of this funk i'm in. Because I know, once I am not as depressed, I won't be eating as much or as randomly.

I was just wondering what you guys can say in terms of motivation? Because one of my BIGGEST issues is being motivated to get something accomplished.

So once again, if you can help me, I'll love you!!

I always think about the feeling of accomplishment after a good work out. I also like to think about all the pluses to regular exercise, and how it can distract you from all your other problems. It's a good release when that's the only type of pain you can concentrate on, and everything else just dilapidates. You just got to know there's never a wrong time to start getting motivated! It's never over until you say it's over. Once you're ready you can turn it all around. I know you can, just seek support (EVen from VT) To help keep you accountable. I hope this helps!

Okay one of the best things you can do is keep yourself busy. Find a hobby that you can't eat while doing, it's even better if it's a hobby that involves physical activity too.

Another thing you can do is chew gum. This means you can't eat. Mint gum is even better since menthol is an appetite suppressant. It should stop you craving food.

Judging by your username, you're a pothead? Smoke less, muncies less, loose weight.

But being serious, exersize can be a moodlifter, get out, take a walk, hit the gym, whatever you did. Honestly you'll probbaly *feel better* in the first place and want to just lie around less.
