So a few days ago my three way lamp burned out, so i got a dim light, but... Before the lamp burned out, i was heating up quarters (sp?) and pressing them to one spot on my skin, now that the lamp isnt hot enough, ive been going... Crazy?..er. And then tried to overdose on sleep aids, no effect.... I burned myself cause i was... Bored, and wanted to see if it left an imprint, but now i cant stop, now i do it to feel the relief when the pain stops...

That's kind of what got me cutting- being bored, but also hurting. I know what your talking about. I've tried so hard to stop, but can't. I want to, but I feel its been ingrained into my life... If you need anyone to talk to about this, feel free to text or pm me.

How old are you? Also, can you try to explain why you feel you have to do it?

Im 12 ill be 13 in like a month, but i do it cause i have a lot of mental annoyance cause by my family, so i hurt my self physicly(sp?) to bring my mind off the pain, and wait for relief of it all, if that makes sense.

OMG! i'm 12 too ^_^.....yeah i have family erm.. "issues" too. it really flicked me up.

No. But i will say i burned my self again, but got like 1st or 2nd degree burns, how? I put my ring on a drum stick held it to a space heater for about 30 seconds, then put it on, it still hurts after 5 hours.

We can't help you if you don't explain your problems. Perhaps you'd be more willing to PM when you get to the 100 post limit..?

Listen to me, you need help. It is that simple. But, in order for someone to be able to help, they need to know whats going on. So, you need to either post whats going on, or you need to contact someone from this site (im always here if youd like) and let them help.

He doesn't have to spill out all his personal problems to a complete stranger or on a public forum if he doesn't want to. Have some respect.

OP, I understand that you don't wish to share your private life here, but you do need to tell a professional if it is serious matter. They will keep everything confidential and will do what they can to help you in the best possible way. Or you could confide in a close friend that you trust?
