I have this depression on the lowest rib on the right side of my body-it noticeable, about twice the size of a golf ball. It looks like a hole was punched in the side of me. It does not hurt, I have had it as long as I can remember. I have never broken a bone in my body. I was told that before I was born, my birth mother had done drugs, so could this be a birth defect?
I had an x-ray done a few years ago, doctor said it was fine, but did not say what it was. Friends point it out, and I tell them I have no idea what it is. I would post a pic somewhere if I could. I know it is NOT Pectus Excavatum (funnel chest), that is NOT what I have. So, if anyone can point it out, thanks :)
