I'm a 15 year old girl, and I am 5'8", weighing in at 211 out of a sport's season. Most of the women in my family are generally overweight. The ideal weight for someone of my age and height is about 155 ish.

Anyway, I play volleyball and softball, so I'm pretty athletic, but I can't help feeling HUGE when I'm around my 115-155 pound friends. When you look at me, you'd never be able to guess my real weight. I'm //very// muscular (for weightlifting buffs, I can clean ((a full body full up to my collarbone)) 135 pounds, which is a lot for a girl), but...I still feel huge. I look at other girls in my grade, I'm...very dishearted.

I mean, I know what my problem is. I eat when I'm not hungry (hah, I'll never have to worry about Anoerxia!). And I eat too much. But even though I know, why can't I stop!?

It's just very frustrating, and I want to lose weight, really badly, but it's so, so hard. I know I"m 50 poudns overweight, but I've got a LOT of muscle. Can someone help me at least feel better about myself?

When standing next to those girls, just remember that you're probaply twice as stong as them.

Have you considered joining the WFL (Women's Football League)?

The program is still in it's infancy, but if we get enough heavy hitters, we'll share in the same glory as women's basketball, women's golf, and women's russian roulette.

I spend my court-ordered volunteer service as a coach, and I know my team, "the BEEFY BETTY BATTALION" is always looking for new members.

Our next practice session in on the twenty third, we're practicing advanced women's tackling, followed by women's poor sportsmanship training.

This session's poor sportsmanship training is women's teabagging.

The WFL is real, but Lt. Col. Environment be realistic, you are extremely strange, but bring up strange points. But anyways on the same topic of the WFL, she's too young to join. And my advice is to be yourself and don't worry about how others judge you, you're the biggest judge in your life, you decide what you do, not others. Do what you want to do in life. Live like everyone else. Unless your overweigthness is causing physical or mental damage/disease you shouldn't worry. Also i have a question. Does anyone ever call you fat or make fun of you, or this just your opinion?

Not necessarily. I've got curves, but I also have a pouch at my lower stomach. Like, I'm not //hot// by ANYONE'S standards.

Eh, it's just more of a low self esteem thing, and I just wanted to make sure I wasn't really overweight or something.

Well i think that you're fine. It just seems that your kind of stressed out because you're different from your friends. You're unique, one of a kind, if anything that's good not bad. We need more women/girls who care more about their bodies and workout, to prove that men aren't the only ones who can lift weights and be so strong. You are a great person, and no matter how you look, nothing is going to change that. Physical appearance is not everything, and based on what you said, i doubt you or your friends see you as overly obese or ugly. Your fine, just live life. Enjoy life like everyone else.

dont take this the wrong way, but u see urself as being bigger than ur frieds because u are, its the same with me, but that doesnt mean its bad. if ur very muscular then, hell, more power too u. too many girls are being caught up in the "skinny as you can be is better" shit which leads to health problems. if ur weight is fat, then while ur out of the sports season, try to start some healthy habbits such as exercise and eating right. it wont do much at the start, but give it a couple of months and stick with it and ull see and feel better
