Family Crest

Something I have always found interesting was my family history and along with my history comes my crest. I always have though family crest were cool and I was wondering if any of you are breave enough to post yours here.

Unfortunately, neither sides of my family have a crest. My father's family changed our last name during WWII because my... great-grandmother? ... wanted to become a nun and German women could not become nuns. So any crest for our current surname would not actually belong to our family.

Then there's my mum's side. My grandfather managed to trace our family back to Ireland where he found out that a woman in our family had a baby out of wedlock. Her family owned an inn and she fell in love with a man who worked nearby, I believe. Therefore, there's no real proof of whether or not the surname belonged to him or whether or not it was pulled out of the inn's log book. The rest of our records where kept in a church that burned down.

we have one from my mom's side..but the only real copy of it is a literally 100 yr old embroidered thing on our wall..no real way to copy it on here.

Ofcourse this probably isn't really my family's for obvious reasons.
