I first got reccomended to these forums for self-harm by a close friend...

It has defintley helped me... I have had a few breaks but altogether I managed about 4 months cutfree... this being my second month in a row... my phycologist and therapist at school didnt underrstand why I did it and neither did i...

So they sent me to my local hospital to see if it was something medical or just in my head... I had to go everyday for two weeks, good thing it was school break, and they noticed that i could go from happy normal me to sad depressed me....

They diagnosed me on day 10 of 14 and ever since then I have wanted to keep it secret... my school doesnt know, my college wont know in september, my family know and now the 2 people I can trust more than anything Know...

So I was wondering does anyone else on here have BPD??? I feel like I'm the only one.... :what:

Just an FYI, most places won't diagnose BPD or any other personality disorder until you're 18 or older, so even if not too many here have a diagnosis, it doesn't mean there aren't undiagnosed cases here.

My best friend has BPD. And there are lots of others out there who have it too.

My "sister" has BPD. You are definitely not the only one. Though it may seem scary at first, it is manageable. I've seen my sister grow so much since she was diagnosed and she's doing so much better. I'm always here if you need to talk too. :)
