Age Gap?

Once you're of age (18+) in your opinion how big of an age gap is acceptable? If you love this guy more than anything, does age make that much of a difference? Then how do you go about telling your parents of this guy?

I think that 2 - 2.5 Years under is okay... and somebody up to the age of 25-26.

Anyways, i think 5-7 years at 18 is okay. But anything else is just abit, odd..
