The style it's shot in, the atmosphere, plot, even the soundtrack are pieces that are meant to make this film define itself more than others. So the fact that it has the ability to go beyond the basic thought of what we conceive of a movie is pretty damn artistic to me.

See, I see film exactly turning into what Idiocracy says in the movie. There's a particular scene where they play a movie in a theatre, which is literally nothing but an ass farting.
